Yokohama is where people go when they want a Tokyo commute at a lower rent. Several areas sit within thirty minutes of Tokyo Station, and for the same commute you generally get more space than in Tokyo's 23 wards. Prices fall fast as you move away from the Tokyo-bound lines, so which line you use matters most.
